Digital Village is an online platform that unites digital experts, fostering collaboration to assemble outstanding teams, pioneer innovative products, and tackle tech challenges in the business world.

Myself and the team

My time at Sustainable Agency included collaborating with Digital Village as one of our clients. The project team was a dynamic duo comprising the Creative Director and myself.

My role extended to understanding business and product requirements, crafting user flows, wireframing, generating low-fidelity designs, conducting iterative design processes, and closely partnering with their engineering team to produce prototypes.

Problem Statement

Digital Village embarked on a website revamp and the development of a robust project management web application capable of efficiently managing teams, projects, tickets, and Kanban boards. Additionally, they sought the creation of an incorporated networking section, known as "the village," where users could connect, explore upcoming events, and access informative articles.

Solution

Our collaboration with Digital Village centred on the conceptualisation and design of a dynamic website and an intuitive project management web application. To address their multifaceted needs, we envisioned a user-centric platform that seamlessly managed projects and facilitated networking and communication. Incorporating user-friendly navigation, intuitive project boards, and an engaging “village” network, our solution streamlined operations, fostering teamwork and innovation.

Reflection

This marked my introductory venture into the realm of product design and UX/UI projects, an experience I found truly enriching. The encouragement and feedback from the Creative Director validated my aptitude for this field. It was a fascinating journey, delving into user flows, prototyping, and product design. Little did I know that this experience would set the stage for my transition into my Product Design role years later.
